Sheetla Hospital has served the families of Gurgaon & nearby areas for more than six years. On 1 Sept 2005 ,It organized a FREE Eyes check up camp at Rajindra Park,Gurgaon. Mare than 75 people were checked at the camp.

On this occasion Prof Dr J.L.Sharma Senior Eye Surgeon was present to examine the patients, He told the gathering about importance of Eye -Care. Like any other organ eyes are also vulnerable to stress and strain which over time manifest as diseases/ disorders of the eye. People generally tend to ignore these problems of the eye until they develop into serious ones and begin to affect the activities of daily life.
The camp was organized at Dr Saxena clinic. A Senior team from Sheetla hospital including optometrists and healthcare experts were present on this occasion.
Mr Raj Sehgal ,General Manager -Sheetla Hospital was counseling the patients. He informed that many of these problems can be prevented, controlled and cured if detected at an early stage .With explosive growth in IT sector and entertainment industry, use of computers and television have become part of life. This has given rise to a steep increase in eye related disorders, most common being refractive errors.
